01 Get your private invitation02 Choose Personal or Work Profile03 Install & request approval
Before you start: Ask DCORP for a personal installation invitation. We'll send the link through WhatsApp. Your separate 8-digit code should be shared by phone call, not in the same WhatsApp message. Never enter a code received from a stranger.
Personal Android
Install on your personal phone or tablet
Choose this when you'd like DCORP alongside your normal phone apps, without joining a managed Work Profile.
Open your private invitation. Tap the DCORP link we sent you in WhatsApp. Only use links from the official install.dcorp.co.za address.
Enter your verification code. Use the 8-digit code DCORP gave you separately by phone.
Choose Personal Phone. Tap the personal installation option once your invitation is verified.
Download the Android installer. Your browser may ask whether to keep an APK file. Confirm only if you trust the official DCORP link.
Approve installation when Android asks. You may need to allow your browser or Files app to install from this source. Android will ask for your confirmation; DCORP cannot silently install on a normal personal phone.
Open DCORP. Follow the business sign-in or setup screens. If you already have a DCORP business, use the existing-business option rather than registering a duplicate business.
Wait for device approval. If the app says your device is pending, contact DCORP and share the Device ID shown in the app. Once authorised, connect and sync your business data.
After installation: You can turn off “Allow from this source” again in Android settings. Deleting the downloaded APK later does not uninstall the app. Never uninstall DCORP to troubleshoot until your data has synced and your backup is confirmed.
Work Profile / Managed Android
Install inside your Work Profile
Choose this if DCORP manages the work apps on your phone. Your Work Profile is the area marked with a small briefcase icon.
Open your invitation and verify it. Enter the separate 8-digit code and choose Work Profile.
Check whether your phone is already enrolled. Swipe up to see your apps and look for the Work tab or apps with a briefcase. If it's there, you normally don't need to enrol again.
If Work is not set up, follow DCORP's ManageEngine invitation. Install the enrolment app when directed and complete the steps shown on your phone. The organisation must authorise enrolment.
Open Play Store in the Work tab. This is different from the personal Play Store. Find DCORP Invoice & Stock and tap Install, or use the ManageEngine app catalogue if the admin has assigned it.
If you only see a webpage, return to Work Play Store. The enterprise Google Play webpage alone does not automatically install an app. Ask DCORP to assign the app to your Work Profile if it's missing.
Open the DCORP work app. Complete business authentication and device approval. If your existing business is already registered, connect to it instead of creating a new one.
You'll see a briefcase symbol on apps installed in the Work Profile. Their local files and data are separate from apps in your personal space.
Before your first sale
Installed? Here’s what to do next.
Open DCORP and check whether the device is Approved. Pending devices cannot be treated as ready for business.
Sign into the correct existing business if you already use DCORP. Don't create an extra business because you changed phones.
Let the app finish synchronising and confirm any required Google Drive backup or checkpoint before relying on offline access.
Check that the right stock, invoices and user permissions appear before you start new transactions.
Installation and licensing are separate checks. An installed app still needs an approved licence/device and the currently required Terms acceptance.
Android Work Profile removal
How to remove a Work Profile safely
If this is your personal Android phone, you may be able to remove the Work Profile when you no longer need it. Please read this first.
Important: removing a Work Profile deletes the apps and local app data inside that Work Profile from the phone. Unsynced DCORP sales, stock changes, receipts and other local work records may be permanently lost. Personal apps and data are normally separate, but a fully managed company device works differently.
Check DCORP sync and backup first. While online, make sure all pending work transactions have synced to your business, the managed checkpoint is confirmed, and any required Google Drive backup has finished. If you're not sure, stop and ask support to verify.
Ask DCORP to release the old device if needed. Removing a Work Profile does not necessarily revoke the separate DCORP licence or release a device slot. Tell support which Device ID you are replacing.
Open Android Settings. Search Settings for Work profile. On many phones, go to Passwords & accounts → Work tab → Remove Work Profile. On Samsung, look under Settings → Accounts and backup → Manage accounts or search for Work profile. Labels vary by model and Android version.
Choose Remove Work Profile. Read Android's warning, then confirm Remove/Delete only if you are ready to lose the local work apps and data on this phone.
Check the Work tab is gone. If ManageEngine still lists the device, ask DCORP to remove its old enrolment from the management console. Do not factory-reset your phone to remove a Work Profile.
Using a company-owned or fully managed device? Please don't try to remove its management or factory-reset it. Contact your employer or DCORP. Your administrator may need to release or unenrol the device first.
Quick answers
Questions? We’ve got answers.
Why does my installation link say invalid?
The invitation may have expired, already been used or have an incorrect address. DCORP links normally expire after 24 hours and are single use. Ask for a fresh link; don't share your verification code in WhatsApp.
Why is the Personal Phone button disabled?
Personal installation is only offered when DCORP has an active, verified APK release and your invitation allows it. Ask DCORP for help; don't download an APK from another website.
Why does Work installation open Google Play in a browser?
Managed Google Play may open an information page. It does not install the app into your Work Profile just by opening the webpage. Use Play Store with a briefcase badge or the approved app catalogue.
Can I keep my existing business when I change phones?
Yes, once your business identity and new device are authorised. Choose the existing-business path; don't create a duplicate business. Wait for sync to finish before using the new device.
Can I use DCORP without internet?
Temporary offline access depends on your active licence, the approved device, its signed offline allowance and required online sync/backup checks. It's not unlimited. Connect regularly to keep data safe.
Does removing Work Profile also remove my personal apps?
On a normal personally owned Android phone with a separate Work Profile, personal apps and data are normally retained. Work apps and their local work data are removed. Different rules can apply to company-managed devices.
How do I contact DCORP?
Email support@dcorp.co.za. If an app asks for approval, include its Device ID. Please never send passwords, verification codes or private keys.
